In the 2010 census, 4.6 million Americans reported having a learning disability.
A learning disability cannot be cured or fixed; it is a life-long issue. There are supports and regulations in place that make the workplace, continuing education and
relationships more manageable.
Learning disabilities can affect one’s ability to read, write, speak, spell, compute math, reason and also affect an individual’s attention, memory, coordination, social skills and emotional maturity.
